Immunometrics (UK) Ltd originated as a publicly funded unit and became self- financing a number of years ago. Although the Company is now fully commercial it retains a public service ethos, with the aim of improving healthcare worldwide.

The current team of highly qualified and dedicated scientists evolved from a centre supported by the World Health Organization and has over two decades of experience and expertise in the development and manufacture of immunoassay reagents and diagnostic kits.

Our areas of diagnostic interest include reproductive health, thyroid screening, infertility and tumor markers.

We have considerable experience in international technical co-operation and technology transfer and our staff have served as consultants to UN agencies in over 40 countries and have provided expert advice to many major diagnostic companies.

Immunometrics produces a range of high-quality, low-cost tube-based immunoassay kits. The tube-based kits require minimal instrumentation and are ideal for use in low to medium throughput laboratories, or for those users looking to change from radioactive diagnostic systems.

We provide assay services and reagents for contraceptive steroids (LNG, MPA, NET and Ethinyl estradiol) and urinary estrone and pregnanediol glucuronides.

We also have a range of primary reagents for immunoassay research and development.
