System comprises:

• Stainless steel Magnetic Separator Base containing 50 resin-bonded rare earth permanent magnets (NdFeB).
• Stainless steel Separator Rack with plastic adaptors (*) for 50 test tubes.

(*) Please note - if tube adaptors become damaged, test tubes may fail to sit correctly over magnets in Separator Rack and magnetic particles may be lost at decanting stage.

Replacement tube adaptors are available if needed.

To remove rack

1. Support handle on one side of Separator Rack with one hand.
2. Press handle on other side of Separator Rack inwards with other hand.
3. Lift Separator Rack clear of Magnetic Separator Base.

To replace rack

1. Locate Rack into slot on one side of Magnetic Separator Base.
2. Press handle on opposite side of Separator Rack, lower the rack and locate into second slot. Do not "snap" together as this may dislodge the magnetic particles.
